A nomadic tribe has finally taken refuge in a cove between the mountains after discovering a boneyard of ginormous whaleshark remains. An old tale doesn't look to be much of an old tale anymore, the Brinefolk has become obsessed with their new discovery and are now set out and find more of its whereabouts.

They spend their days building and maintaining their homes, setting out to sail for short expeditions, analyzing waters, blending mixtures of brinewater and oil, whilst making potions and vials for medicine.

While the Brinefolk primarily hunt, examine, and eat the fish, a form of spiritual connection has been found through the incense-smokers found throughout the village, the Oracle's bone-chimes adds a calmness to the air and waters, attracting & adding a soothing sensation to the village and the fishlife.

The Brinefolk are fine craftsmen too, the architecture seen in the village is built by trees cut down in the area combined with collected bone-relics. The cove offers an enclosed surrounding of tall mountain walls and areas of shallow water which makes it a good place for a home to protect themselves from strong tides and harsh winds.

BRINE is my personal worldbuilding project set in a grounded fantasy setting. Allowing me to have fun and experiment with designs that are more medieval & tribal.
